GriefShare is a national movement that supports the formation of groups that meet weekly to help meet the challange of grief and rebuild their emotional and social lives.
It provides a variety of material aids and support services, such as interactive video seminars, to help help groups and individuals with their focus, personal study, and reflection. GriefShare Groups are typically grounded in local faith communities. In our region, there are several congregations with active groups, which we have listed below.
If you are interested in starting a GriefShare Group in your community, please click here to go to the group page on the GriefShare website.

Grief Support Groups - Whatcom Hospice offers two weekly drop-in grief support groups for any adults who are experiencing grief from the death of a loved one.    Check out the Grief Support Page at Whatcom Hospice.

These are no-cost groups, no registration is necessary and people may come as often as they need to during their grief journey. Information shared in the group is confidential, time is allowed for everyone to share their story or ask questions and the groups are facilitated by trained bereavement specialists from hospice. The groups meet at the HEC Tuesday evenings 7-8:30pm and Wednesdays 2-3:30pm. For more information contact Whatcom Hospice at 733-5877 or email JRobinson2@peacehealth.org.
